Zannimals!

Meet Titus.  He is a 6 week old Coquerels Sifaka that was born at the St. Louiz Zoo on January 23, 2010.  The playful little lemur enjoys climbing on his parents Almirena and Caligula. 

Easter Day 2010 at the Saint Louis Zoo-  The Visayan warty pigs are tossed giant Easter eggs that are filled with treats.  The eggs are stuffed with hay and peanut butter.

The African Lions at the St. Louis Zoo get some Easter eggs on Easter Day 2010.  Their eggs are filled with hay and spices (nutmeg and paprika). 

At the Saint Louis Zoo, animals celebrate Earth Day by participating in Earth Day related animal enrichment activities.  The chimps and urangutans get pinatas full of treats and the Malayan Sun Bears get pumped up over their treat filled globes.  

Easter Day 2010 at the St. Louis Zoo- the chimpanzees have an Easter Egg Hunt.  They seek out their decorated eggs (kiwi and hard boiled eggs), then enjoy eating their treats. 

Eli is an 8 day old Bactrian camel that was born at the St. Louis Zoo on March 11th, 2010.
